Anope 1.7.20 released

With all currently known bugs fixed, this new release of Anope contains loads of bugfixes and should provide a stable experience. This is one of the last releases in the 1.7 series of Anope. We encourage users who were not using the 1.7 series for stability reasons to try out this release and
report any bugs found on our bugtracker at https://bugs.anope.org/.

An important note for MySQL users: various database schema improvements have been added in Changes.mysql. Be sure to apply these changes to your database schema for a large increase in performance of the MySQL code.

Take a look at the change log for more information about the changes made for this release.

The source and Windows binaries can be downloaded from SourceForge.

SVN, Doxy and Docgen moved

Due to recent server issues, we have moved our SVN repository, WebSVN frontend, Doxygen and Docgen documentation over to a new host. They are now hosted at the following locations:</p>

You can move over your local subversion repository to our new host easily. For the SVN command-line client (*nix), enter this in your trunk/ dir to switch the trunk repository to the new location:

  • svn switch --relocate svn://zero.org/repos/anope/trunk svn://svn.anope.org/anope/trunk

If you are using TortoiseSVN on Windows, follow these instructions:

  • Rightclick on your top svn folder (typically 'trunk'), go to TortoiseSVN, then Relocate...
  • At the 'To URL' of the dialog box that popped up, enter svn://svn.anope.org/anope/trunk and click Ok

The links to WebSVN, Doxygen and Docgen can also be found at https://dev.anope.org/. As a bonus you'll get an ASCII-art sketch of our site layout ;)
